A&A is currently using the College of Engineering Virtual Desktop Interface (COE-VDI) remote desktop system starting in the Autumn of 2020.
These COE-VDI servers were purchased using Student Technology Fee (STF) funds allocated to both the department and the COE over the last couple of years. These servers are based on VMWare and the VMWare Horizon system. Both the College and the department are working on new STF Grant submissions to modernize both the VDI servers and the “Thin Clients” available in the “A&A Computing Lounge” located in GUG 214.
