SharePoint Online Storage Limits

  • Maximum file size: 250GB

  • Default SharePoint Online site storage limit: 25TB

  • Maximum items in a list: 30 million items

  • Maximum files and folders in a library: 30 million

  • Files “deleted” from SharePoint are stored in the “Recycle Bin” for 93 days from deletion (assuming an Admin doesn’t “Empty the Recycle Bin”)!
