Laminating

1. Get the laminator out of the bottom right cabinet of the supply room along with laminating pouches.

2. Connect the power cord to the laminator and plug in

3. Power on with the on/off switch at the back of the machine

4. Press standby button at the left of the front operating panel to turn it on

Hot Lamination

1. Use navigation keys to select the setting for the hot lamination → determined by the pouch thickness, can be found on the box of pouches (3mm-10mm)

2. Confirm your selection by pressing enter and wait for it to warm up → notified by instructions on the screen → you will be notified when it is ready by a beep 

3. While the laminator is heating up, prep the item you wish to laminate by centering it in the pouch

4. Once the laminator is at temperature, place pouch (sealed edge first) into laminator entry and use the edge guides to center it into the machine

5. to prevent jamming immediately remove the item from the back of the machine and place on a flat surface to cool

6. Turn off the laminator and wait for it to cool before placing it back in the cabinet 

Cold Lamination

1. Use navigation keys to select setting for cold lamination → Enter

2. Center item on clear side against sealed edge

3. Peel small amount of protective sheet away from the document

4. Place pouch (sealed edge first) into laminator entry, using the edge guide to center it and continue peeling the protective sheet away

5. Turn off the laminator and place it back in the cabinet
