Keys locations

The Front Desk does not give out keys.

  • AERB, GUG, and Steelcase keys are kept in the key lockers in the GUG 211 copy room

  • The keys to these key lockers are in the main office desk safe

  1. A&A Facilities will prepare any key for pickup and leave it at the Front Desk.

  2. When someone comes to pick up their key, they must sign and leave the key checkout formtheir Key Checkout Form.

  3. Put File the signed key checkout form in Sean Krewson’s mailboxKey Checkout Form alphabetically in the ‘New Key Forms’ binder.

Key return

When someone returns a key:

  1. Check Find their Key Inventory Form and send Sean Krewson (skrewson@uw.edu) an email with the key #, sub #, room #, a picture of the key and the key holder's name Checkout Form in the binder and write ‘Returned’ and the date at the bottom. Add your signature.

  2. Put the completed form in the ‘Return Keys’ binder.

  3. Update the Key Inventory Form.

  4. Return key to the key cabinet if possible.
