Autumn Quarter 

  • October: Safety training deadline, including Machine Shop training

  • October: Solicit faculty for Spring junior lab project

  • Mid November - identify TA for lab courses

  • Early December - administrative coordination with all lab course instructors 

Winter Quarter 

  • Firm up project solicitation

  • Lab instructor forms junior lab project groups

Spring Quarter 

  • Weekly - check in with Course instructor, TA’s, GSA’s fiscal and facilities staff to ensure projects get supported 

March

Training for anyone with workbenches in ITAR protected space

Late May Monday before Memorial Day 

Purchasing and machine shop scheduling cut-off for junior lab
