• 15 Core Faculty: Faculty who teach, conduct research and serve.

• 1 Teaching Faculty: Faculty who primarily teach.

• 2 Research Faculty: Faculty who primarily conduct research.

• 4 Adjunct Faculty: Faculty who have primary appointments in other UW departments.

• 25 Affiliate Faculty: Faculty who have primary appointments outside of UW including other universities, companies and organizations. 

• 3 Postdoctorate Research Associates: Faculty who have recently completed their PhD and are gaining additional research experience.
