Scholarships

Completing a college degree can be expensive.  However, there are scholarships to provide you with assistance in paying for your tuition and related expenses.

A&A Department Scholarships ($1,000 - $15,000)

We are pleased to provide multiple scholarships to deserving A&A undergraduate students every year -  thanks to generous donors.  Students use one application to apply to a pool of scholarships funds.  The department matches scholarships to applicants based on academic merit, financial need and/or fit as intended by the generous donors.  The annual deadline for A&A department scholarships is May 15 for the following academic year.

Brooke Owens Fellowship: Paid Internship & Mentoring

• For women and gender-minority undergraduate students interested in aerospace careers.

Washington State Opportunity Scholarships (up to $22,500)

• For WA state residents who are pursuing a high demand STEM bachelor's degree.

• Mary Gates Leadership Scholarship (up to $5,000)

UW NASA Washington Space Grant Scholarships

• WSGC Scholarships for Incoming Freshmen ($2,000 - $5,000)

• WSGC Community College Transfer Scholarships ($2,000 - $5,000)

• The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation Scholarship (up to $10,000)
