Communication
UPDATE: Make sure to check your junk mail folder in case e-mails end up there. This is especially true if you have your UW e-mail forwarded to another account.
UW E-mail
The vast majority of communication from the department will come in the form of e-mail. You are expected to check and read your UW e-mail at least once a day (during weekdays when classes are in session). If you have another e-mail address that you use primarily, you may want to consider forwarding your UW e-mail to that e-mail address.
Student E-Mail Lists
All students are subscribed with their UW e-mail address to a department e-mail list based on their current cohort (aa-senior, aa-junior, aa-sophomore, aa-freshmen). By being on this e-mail list, you will also get updates that go to all A&A undergraduate students, all A&A students, and all A&A people. You will receive important information and updates via the department e-mail list. It's a requirement that all current students be on the department e-mail list. If you would like to send an e-mail to other A&A students, you are able to use the e-mail lists below. These lists are moderated and typically approved during regular business hours (M-F 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., except holidays).
aa-undergrads@uw.edu (to send to all A&A undergraduate students)
aa-seniors@uw.edu (to send to all A&A seniors)
aa-juniors@uw.edu (to send to all A&A juniors)
aa-sophomores@uw.edu (to send to all A&A sophomores)
aa-freshmen@uw.edu (to send to all A&A sophomores)
Student Feedback

Please use the A&A student feedback tool to send us this information. Information collected is confidential and will only be seen by A&A advising staff (no faculty will see this information).
